Patrick Ambron is the CEO and co-founder of HelloPrivacy LLC, DBA BrandYourself, which helps individuals clean up, protect and improve their online reputation and online privacy. Some of their more popular features include social media cleanup tools, removing personal information from data brokers, finding and deleting old accounts, and many others. They also help customers deal with other issues that happen on the web, like removing non-consensual pornography for victims of revenge porn. In an age of cyberbullying, revenge porn, inadequate online privacy laws, they see themselves as building tools that help consumers navigate many of the unintended consequences of the web so people can feel secure and in control online.

Patrick is recognized as a leading expert in Online Reputation Management, Online Privacy and Search Engine Optimization. He believes as individuals live more of their lives online, they need tools to protect their own online privacy, identity and reputation.

In 2011, fresh out of college, Patrick lead the BrandYourself team to win New York’s #1 Emerging Technology Award, making him the youngest person ever to win the $200K prize. He was named Young Entrepreneur of the year by the SBA, and most recently, named to Inc Magazine’s top 35 under 35. He’s a contributor to Inc, Entrepreneur, Huffington Post and occasionally other places like the Washington Post where he writes about online privacy and reputation. He’s a regular instructor at General Assembly and guest lectures regularly at universities like Columbia, Syracuse, Georgetown and the University of Pennsylvania.

When he’s not writing in the third person for his professional bio, he takes himself less seriously. He loves the outdoors and still plays soccer on a regular basis. He loves movies and doesn’t mind going to the movie theater by himself, even if people tell him it’s weird (it’s not). He grew up working in restaurants and bars and always enjoys a good beer with good company.
